Sedona, AZ

Sedona was a great way to spend some quality time with my fiance. We took an amazing helicopter ride through the red rocks. It's was a great experience and the view was siiiick! I can't wait to go back.

This year Sam and I decided to make some cupcakes for our tree trimming party tomorrow. It's gonna be a great party and I hope our desserts taste great too. I think that I would love to start this tradition with him.

The Real Life Time Traveler

Check out this link that has just been posted. What are your thoughts on it??? Time Traveler in 1928 Charlie Chaplin Movie Footage? Do you believe that it could possibly be someone from our time that has gone back in time? Does the Dolorean really exist and is it possible to go back to a time a place we can only dream of? Detroit Beauty

It's sad sometimes that Detroit doesn't get he recognition that they should. There are so many beautiful and exquisite homes that people have forgot or don't tend to. The picture of this house is at Sibley and Park in downtown Detroit and I took the picture right before a Lions game. I love how the colors and lay out of the house fit it perfectly. The ivy leaves are already changing and its so beautiful how magical nature can be.

Everything's Bigger in Texas

It's my first time in Texas and I love it here. I'm in Dallas for the state fair and auto show. This fair ground is huge and I haven't even left the Chrysler area. I can't wait to check out the city and experience something new. I'm very fortunate to have such an amazing job that allows me to travel. What a great time to spend my twenties. It's only the first day, but man, what a great first day it is. One down... only 11 more days to go.

Detroit Lions Home Opener

Today was a great day. We went to the Lions home opener for the second year in a row. But this year we tailgated at Eastern Market. It was different but great experience. We went down with some friends, ate pulled worked sandwiches and of ciurse, played beer pong. The only difference is I used Jack Daniels instead of beer. Bad choice. The sun was shining and the weather was better than expected. A win would totally have made the day buy sadly they came close again but could not pull off a win.

Autumn...

I love this time of year. Cidermills, layered clothing, colors, and watching Sam watch football. These next few months have some great holidays as well. My favorite holiday is Halloween.... ohhh... I can't wait.

Too Young To Die

So, Lindsay Lohan just "leaked" a new song... conveniently a few days after she was in court for breaking her probation. What do you think about it? The only thing that might help her with this song is that she sounds like Justin Bieber and fans might mistake that and listen, until they find out it's her song.

Man it's hot outside!

I'm so glad to be sitting in my house right now with air conditioning! I was at dinner last night with the family and had seen on the t.v. that there was a severe heat advisory for the southeast area of Michigan. I can't remember the last time that Michigan had a heat advisory. The real question is... do I go swimming at the pool or stay cool and check out the new Eclipse movie???

4th of July weekend

This fourth was amazing! The weather was perfect! Spending time with your friends during holidays are a great way to spend the day! I loved it! Then we also heading out to the Beach Grill in St. Clair for the annual IndepenDANCE party with hosts Stick from Channel 955 and Jevon Hollywood from 106.7 The Beat of Detroit. Great times during Michigan summers.

Brides-to-Be Bridal Shows

Recently I've been going to different bridal shows and this one that I went to last Sunday was great! Even though there were a lot of people, commotion and overall exhibits, everything was well planned. I learned a lot about what I did and didn't want at my wedding. :) I know for 100% that I DO NOT want a chocolate fountain. It just seems like I went back to the 80's and I know once it runs out... it smells awful! The whole room by the end of the night smells like BURNT chocolate! Who wants that?? I certainly don't! What are some good bridal shows that provided a good amount of info??

LeSalon Open House and Bridal Show

I had a great time at the LeSalon Bridal show this evening! We were mannequins in this store window! It was a great experience watching everyone's face and they drove by and noticed that I had moved! :) I had about 5 dresses on throughout the 2 hours party... and surprisingly I loved something about every dress. I don't know what I want for sure on my dress. But I do know now that I want a sweetheart neckline, mermaid styled dress with accents and pearls on there, with a hint of lace! I think that would be the perfect dress! It pretty much described what I like on all the dress that I tried on tonight. Even though my wedding is still so far away, I don't think that there is anything wrong with planning ahead. All I know is that I don't want stressed out like so many engaged couples are a few months before their wedding.

Chicago First Look Preview

I just got back from the longest day at work. It was a great preview though! They had the best food from local restaurants around Chicago. Mmmmm. I must say though, that previews are some of the best people watching ever! Tonight we did the best/worse dress of the evening and of course there were some beautiful dresses out there!!!! One thing though... my feet hurt. Ouch :(
